About
In this lab, fundamental experimental and numerical studies on gas-solid two phase flows, fluidization, fluidized and spouted beds are carried out.
Research Infrastructure
- Optical probe for particle velocity and concentration measurements
- Infrared gas analyzer (CO2)
- Tracer gas/gas mixing analysis system
- Flow meters, pressure meters, humidity meters, temperature meters, DAQ system
- Different sizes of fluidized and spouted beds
- High-speed camera
- ANSYS FLUENT and MFIX for CFD simulations
