The Thin Film Preparation and Characterization Laboratory focuses on the R&D studies of functional thin film materials, including optical coating/device design and characterization. The laboratory seeks enthusiastic graduate and/or doctoral students who have obtained their undergraduate and/or master's degrees in physical engineering/physics or materials sciences and are interested in optics and optics-based device development.
