Bioactive Food Laboratory

About

  • The main purpose of the Bioactive Food Laboratory is to isolate and purify bioactive compounds found in food products.
  • In addition, the antioxidant activities of the purified bioactive components are determined after NMR characterization.

Research Infrastructure

  • High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
  • Medium Pressure Liquid Chromatography (MPLC)
  • Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC)
  • Preparative Thin-layer Chromatography (PTCL)
  • Refrigerated Centrifuge
  • Oven
  • Scales
  • Refrigerated Vacuum Rotary Evaporator
  • Laboratory Homogenizer
  • pH meter
  • Vacuum Desiccator
  • Non-Vacuum Desiccator
  • Heated Magnetic Stirrer
  • Commercial Blender
  • Commercial Grinder
