Academic staff's research work, projects, and master's and doctoral students' thesis subjects, usually use equipments and devices  in the research laboratory. The main subjects carried out in this laboratory are on environmental biotechnology, water, and wastewater treatment, carbon dioxide fixation, particulate matter, gas emissions, pesticides, soil, sewage sludge treatment and biogas production  by using different experiments and applying various methods.
