Genetic Variation and Adaptation Laboratory (GenVA Lab)

About

GenVA laboratory deals with adaptation mechanisms in Drosophila species, which is an important model in genetic studies. Our research combines classical laboratory experiments with comprehensive sampling of natural populations and genomic level characterizations. One of our main areas of study is how natural populations evolve adaptively in response to spatial and temporal changing climate and climate-related factors.
