Vector Ecology Research Group Laboratory (VERG)

About

The Vector Ecology Research Group Laboratory (VERG) works on basic ecology, evolutionary ecology, population genetics and dynamism, taxonomy and population modeling on vector organisms that threaten human and animal health and the pathogens they carry. The laboratory, which has a modern molecular biology unit and geometric morphometry unit, contains the largest mosquito and sandfly collection and gene bank in the Western Palearctic.
